Arturo Gorlini 13 Eylül 1965 tarihinde Vigevano (Pavia-İtalya)’da doğdu.. Vigevano, dünyadaki ayakkabıların başkentiydi ve sektörün tasarımcılarının beşiği sayılabilir.. Diplomasını edindikten sonra Arturo ayakkabı konusundaki deneyimleri ve araştırmaları başladı.. Ayakkabı yapan insanlarla çalışan ayakkabı fabrikasındaki yerde kuruldu ve ayrıca o 1985 – 1989 yılları arasında Vigevano’daki “Ayakkabı Tasarım Okulu“nda çalıştı.. Arturo bağımsız olarak kendi stüdyosunu 1988’de açıyor.. Yıllar boyunca kesintisiz devam ediyor.. Uzun yıllar, BOTTEGA VENETA, HENRY CUIR, LUCIANO PADOVAN, DANCI’N ve dünyanın dört bir yanından gelen çeşitli tasarımcılar gibi prestijli markalara yönelik ayakkabı fabrikası ile birlikte çalışmalarını aralıksız sürdürmektedir.. Bir tasarımcısının katma değeri “bir ayakkabı nasıl yapılır” olduğunu bilmek diyen Arturo Gorlini, hassas orantıların sonucu olarak üretilebilen koleksiyonlar oluşturabilir.
ARTURO GORLINI, Shoes Designer
Arturo Gorlini born in Vigevano (Pavia – Italy) on 13 September 1965.. Vigevano was the world capital of shoes and can be considered the cradle of the designers of the sector.. After obtaining the diploma in surveying Arturo began his experience in the shoes world.. He was formed “on the ground” in a shoes factory working with people that “makes shoes” and, also, he has studied from 1985 to 1989 at the “SCHOOL OF SHOES DESIGNERS” in Vigevano obtaining his diploma of modeller and designer.. Already started to work Arturo practice their profession independently opening his own studio in 1988.. Over the years he continues uninterruptedly his activity collaborating with shoe’s factory of level for prestigious brands such as BOTTEGA VENETA, HENRY CUIR, LUCIANO PADOVAN, DANCI’N and various emerging designers from around the world..The added value of a designer is to know “how to make a shoe”: Arturo Gorlini can create collections that are actually producible as the result of precise proportions and experience, also in the field of manufacturing.

Stunning…but not to be worn! I think it’s a real nightmare to spend some hours wearing shoes of the kind….but to have a pair in a collection – that’s a brilliant idea!
