In this article, I wanted to talk about a success story of Kirsty Mitchell will be an inspiration to everyone going after your dreams and her project called WonderLand.. If you are interested in photography or fashion, you must have met at that project somewhere.. This project is 4,5 years old and it has 70 visually..

Beni en çok etkileyen ve ilgilendiren yanı ise bu projede kulanılan hiçbir materyalin dijital ortamda eklenmemiş olması.. Çekimlerde kullanılan tasarımların hepsi Kirsty Mitchell tarafından yapılmış.. Tüm kostümler, aksesuarlar ve dekorlar tek tek tamamen el yapımı yani handmade.. Kullanılan tüm parçalar; kumaşlar, örgüler, tahta yelpazeler, eski kitaplar, kuru yapraklar, köpük gibi daha pek çok malzeme kullanılarak elde yapılmış.. Çekim yerleride doğal ortamlardan seçilmiş.. Kirsty Mitchell “ photoshop kullanarak daha kısa sürede projeyi tamamlayabilirdim ama kafamdaki sahneleri oluşturmak beş aydan fazla sürse bile herşey gerçek olmalıydı, bu beni duygusal açıdan mutlu kılıyordu” diyor..

It impressed me most in this project that everything is real.. Photoshop not used in that project.. All designs were made by Kirsty.. All costumes and accessories were made with hand.. So, everything is handmade.. The places chosen for the photo shooting are completely natural.. Kirsty Mitchell says “if I could use Photoshop, I could finish this project in less time  but that does not make me happy.. So,everything had to be real”..

Kirsty Mitchell, Karen Miller Moda Evinin başarılı bir tasarımcısıyken Harikalar Diyarı projesi her şeyi değiştirmiş.. Böylece bu proje sadece bir tasarımcıyken fine-art fotoğrafçılığa giden yolu da başlatmış.. İngiltere’de Nikon elçisi seçilmiş.. Bu proje hayal meyal anı parçalarından, duygulardan, İngilizce öğretmeni olan ve beyin tümöründen kaybettiği annesinin ona okuduğu hikayelerden beslenmiş..

Everything has changed with this project while Kirsty is a designer of Karen Miller Fashion House.. So, the way to fine-art photography was opened for her.. This project fed with part of the vague memories, feelings  and from told stories her of her English teacher mother.. Her mother died of a brain tumor..

Öykücü ( The Storyteller )

Öykücü : Bu çekimlerde kullanılan kitaplar 120 yıldan daha eski.. Mankenin elindeki büyük incil ise 250 yaşında.. Başlık ise yaban sümbülllerinden yapılmış..

(The Storyteller): This books are 120 years older.. Great Bible at in model’s hands is 250 years old..  Bluebell was used for hat..

The Lavender Princess & Portrait of a Princess: That is first shooting  in the Wonderland Project.. This shooting is most popular of Wonderland Project.. Shooting venue is a real lavender field.. Purple smoke bombs used to create smoke .. Lavender flowers were used over the umbrella..

Kraliçe’nin Donanması ( The Queen’s Armada )

Kraliçe’nin Donanması: Bu sahne 5 aylık bir çalışmanın ürünü.. Gemiler çelikten, kraliçenin etek ve yakası  ise 240 adet ince tahta Çin yelpazelerinden üretilmiş..

The Queen’s Armada : This shooting is the product of five months work.. Galleons were made of steel.. The Queen’s skirt and collar were made from over 240 fine wooden fans flown over from China..

Gaia’nın Tılsımı: Bu çekimde kullanılan elbise için 20 kişi çalışmış, tamamlanması tam bir ay sürmüş.. Yelkenli içinse eski bir fiberglas botu kaplamışlar.. Çekim yeri ise doğal bir çiçek tarlası.

Gaia’s Spell: Twenty people worked in the making of this dress.. The construction of the dress was completed at a month.. A old fiberglass boat covered as sailboat.. Shooting place is natural flower field..

Gaia’nın Vaadi: Bu çalışmada da başlık için tığ örgü motiflerden yararlanılmış.. Hepsi tek tek elde örülmüş..

Gaia’s Promise: Crochet motifs knitted were used for this costome..Each one motif knitted with hand..
